In Peru, often times stallions and breedings were traded among friends.  Keeping with this tradition, we offer our exceptional stallions at very reasonable prices.

Please do not equate our prices with reduced quality; we believe it is more important to share the strength, disposition, brio and gait that our stallions can offer.  The future of our breed will be judged on stallions with these critical qualities.

Best Gaited Horse of Show

Citacion is a wonderfully gaited solid bay stallion sired by the legendary Antares, and has done well in the past when he was shown.  Citacion is 19-years-young, and we will be offering limited outside breedings to this stunning stallion.  He is sweet and gentle in temperament, with a long flowing mane and tail, elegant movement and strong, clean legs.  We eagerly await the first foals from this spectacular stallion.  Offered P.T. to approved mares, live cover only.  See Citacion's Pedigree HERE.

15 days basic mare care included with P.T. stud fee.

Special thanks to Mary Miles for allowing the purchase of this fine stallion, and also special thanks to Shirley Zeller-Markle for her assistance with this transaction.

MJM Perulero Joven - Golden Buckskin

*Perulero (Sol de Oro (V) x Senorita) X La Cabrita (Pergamino x *HNS Lira)

DOB: April 4, 1986 to February 28, 2004

PJ was a 18-year-old dark, dappled, golden buckskin stallion who stood 14.3 hands.  He had low, loose termino and a very smooth gait, strong pasterns and clean legs.  This stallion was sweet and gentle, yet a powerhouse to ride.  PJ  produced some extremely nice offspring, and everyone has been very pleased with his foals.  I am eagerly awaiting his last foal due August 2004.

April of 2000, I rescued PJ from a very unfortunate situation, he had been starved and was at least 300 pounds underweight.  He had made an incredible recovery, with the help of many supporters.

Click here to read "PJ's Story: The tale of a girl and the rescue of the horse of her dreams."

Unfortunately, PJ crossed the Rainbow bridge February 28, 2004, of an apparent heart attack.  The vet suggested that the damage he suffered by the starvation and neglect likely was the sole reason.  He is greatly missed by many, and will never be forgotten.  His semen has been frozen and banked, so hopes of future offspring from my beloved stallion are still possible.  My special thanks to Burt Burnett, Dr. Karen of Tx. and the excellent staff of Texas A & M for making this all possible.

Tejo has returned to Santa Rosa, CA to fulfill additional breeding obligations, but watch for our  Tejo foal out of our black mare, Belleza Negra CS born April 17, 2004.  She can be viewed on our sales page, although I am in no means eager to sell this foal.
